Practicing as a taxation accountant on the Gold Coast since 2004, Sean holds a Bachelor of Business, is a registered Tax Agent, Justice of the Peace (Qual), and holds a Public Practice licence from CPA Australia. He is also a member of the Governance Institute of Australia.

About Sean Beasley

Sean Beasley started his career in the early 2000’s in a 2-partner firm located on the Gold Coast who specialised in small business and family groups. After 2 years with JWA Accountants he moved into an internal finance accounting role with a public finance group specialising in property. Over the next 4 years his role within the group changed from producing management accounts, to general purpose reporting, and finally back to taxation. Sean was invited to become a director in 2009 and held this
position for 10 years.

Sean is a current ADF member spending the last 9 years as an active reserve member within an Infantry battalion. He received the Soldiers Medallion in 2014 and was promoted to Lance Corporal. Sean also received recognition within his company winning soldier of the year and best shot. Sean has been the Guard commander at several ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day memorial services held in SE QLD. He currently serves on the QLD Public Practice Committee and the Gold Coast Branch Committee. His role on the GC Branch entails organising events for CPA members in SE QLD region.

Sean is a mentor in the Griffith School of Business program and has mentored several CPA and CA students while they are undertaking their final studies. Sean now runs his own accounting practice on the Gold Coast, with clients located around the country, as well as the UK, Japan and Canada. Sean is also a director of a consultancy firm within the NDIS sector providing companies and NFP with back office and IT support. He also sits on several advisory boards for Indigenous business, assisting with internal accounting control and system processes.
